I got the offer for interview by ukm last Wednesday
Last week, I was still struggling whether to go for this interview or not because I am still not sure if I am qualified enough to choose this course
This course definitely needs unlimited creativity within one self and I think that I am lack of creativity...and I don't draw very well
I am interested in drawing since I was very young.
That's very true but I've never been to a drawing class to learn the proper techniques in drawing
So my main worries are : 1) CREATIVITY 2) DRAWING
I know this will be a very tough course but I am not afraid of this
I love challenges actually
And I just discovered this side of me not long ago ><
But after thinking for a zillion times, I decided to go
Reason :
-I am actually interested in this course
-going there won't cause any harm to me, there will be no loss too
-going there can gain experience about what a university interview is like
-IF I am to be so lucky to get this course, I can think about ways to get rid of my worries later (won't be a big deal I think)
So, that's why I was there yesterday. At UKM, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment
I went there from SJ. The journey took about half an hour
When I reached ukm, my first impression is, it is HUGE
I went some colleges before and their campus area can never to be compared with this
When I reached the fac (new) at 8.30am, I saw the fac of law (new) is just opposite of it
A lot of people was already there
I was neither late nor early
Upon registration, I saw most of them were carrying their port folios with them and I don't have any
Never mind, I thought. People who just graduated won't have any of those right? Just like me
Haha XD
After registration, all of us were asked to go to a room at the third floor
We went up by lift
In the room, I counted the number of people there
Hmm...around 100
Then we were asked to draw and write an essay related to architecture within half an hour, 9.30-10.00am
I don't know what to draw at first
As I mentioned earlier, I don't really know about drawing
Saw almost all of them began drawing as soon as the countdown started
So I just simple drew a house with windows and a door LOL
After that we were brought to the waiting room and waited for our names to be called
We went into the interview room in a group of four and I was very lucky to be in the first group
So the questions were as follows :
1. Self-intro
2. What is your special talent?
3. Why you choose this?
4. What is your first choice?
5. Why you were taking biology in your form 6 but you choose this course now?
6. What are your hobbies?
7. What current issues are you concerned with?
8. This is a very tough course. Are you ready for it?
.
.
.
Lastly, any questions you want to ask?
And then it was over
It was actually not as scary as I first thought of
The interviewer just wish to know us more and the way we talk
So, for anyone going to sit for the interview in da future, don't be nervous
Be yourself and show your confidence
Oh ya, mine was conducted in BM
So better be prepared in both English and BM
Good Luck!
Good luck to me too
Hope that I can get it although my drawing really failed
But we will learn that during the three years right? So that won't be a big problem
My words end here ♥#
