Today is the 1st of December
I've started my very first job after my graduation from university since 29th of October this year
So I've already worked there for one month
My probation period is three-months long, I hope that I can pass that without any problem
Throughout this month
Nothing much was done, that's the fact
I'm still trying to catch up with the stuffs of the company, mainly on the flow
Of how things work, and the possible outcomes
This is very important actually to assist me in my analysis
I think
The company is not really big, we currently have around 70 employees
And we're provided with stationary and laptop
I like the keyboard and mouse provided so much
They are comfortable to use and the style is just of my taste
It's just that they don't have the fancy lights🤔
I like my colleagues as well
All of them are around my age
With the range between 20 to 30 (majority)
And most of them are new too
Like me
They just came in from last year or this year except those who held a higher position
So we can get along easier
Although most of the time everyone is busy with their own tasks
But they are indeed very helpful
They are willing to guide and answer my questions whenever I am in doubt
One thing I like the most until now
Is that whenever I'm assigned a task and there are certain things which I would like to point out
I can just give suggestions and it will be listened
We're actually discussing
They won't be like
"Hey, I've worked here longer than you do, so you should just follow whatever we've told you to do without so much comments"
So discussion actually takes place
Because I think our main purpose for anything we do is for the benefit of the company
So what makes you think I can't have a good suggestion?
Some company are like that which I don't like
So I'm glad that those system is not applicable in here
Really
Most of my colleagues are guys
So I believe there will be less politics here? Maybe?
I hope so
'Cause I really hate office politics ha ha
But there is one thing I don't like about here
It's not like the company's fault or what
Just that when I'm lost
There's no one who can guide me in exactly my scope
Since I'm the only one analyst here in this company
For the product data
And I don't have any working experience
So sometimes I will be lost and have no idea what I can do with the data
But there's no one who could tell me what to do
I'm not sure whether this is true in other companies too
But I really wish there's a senior who can guide me in this😫
Anyway
Life around here is simple
Eateries are all over this place as well
So it's very convenient indeed
There are public buses which connects to MRT stations
So there's no problem for me to go to the middle of KL either
So far so good
I hope I will be able to learn more things in the following days
(But getting pass the probation is the first thing now
Wish me luck😌☘)
